Gutted. Mackie was instrumental in our promotion and in hanging on in our 2011/12 season.

Maybe we are only just seeing how divisive the two tier payment system really was under Hughes. We'd all feel the same if it were us. A very decent guy with bucketloads of the right attitude. Harry talks about "the right sort". Under your nose harry.
Good luck Jamie.

The more I read of this the more depressed I get. I'm going to Southend tonight, but I'm not really looking forward to it TBH.

I'll say it now, I am looking forward to the day that Arry leaves the club along with Beard. You cant take anything Arry says as the truth, and even now he doesn't seem to have a plan.
Beard is just a downright incompetent liar, who knows nothing about football. He is the one responsible for us having players on contracts without relegation clauses, who we cant offload.

Whatever happened to trying to rebuild team spirit? we sell Mackie and keep SWP!!! Whatever is said about Mackies ability, he always gave his best and should have been fundamental to building a spirit in the dressing room.
Rant over.

There are some players that whence they leave our club, you never keep an eye out for their fortunes. Then there's guys like Jamie Mackie. Thanks son, good luck.

and they would have been a promotion rival. I cant see us being anywhere above mid-table unless they have some rabbits in the hat.
I can just see Mackie scoring against us at the Loft end <grr>

Yes indeed, we're all going to be glued to our seats watching out for Bosingwa playing in Turkey - although I must admit I did watch a few of Barton's OM games, and over here following Ryan Nelsen with his TFC venture.

Bet Mackie scores against us this season!

Exactly this. Mackie gave his all for the club, and has been absolutely brilliant, probably Warnock's best aquisition. Just the sort of guy you want alongside you in the trenches.
Best of luck to him.

Also the type of guy that you wouldn't mind your daughter bringing home to supper.

That donkey Zamora doesn't put in effort like that! Remy certainly has the skill, but not the same passion.

Northolt❂QPR ‏@Northolt_QPR
Do #QPR have more than their fair share of hysterical tarts as fans? #Meltdown

Northolt got it spot on, as usual <ok>

As does David Mac

David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 14h
Some unhappy with #QPR but it won't last. Likely signing of Townsend in particular will see a quick return to happyclappydom. Jamie who?

Townsend will make **** all difference, we still need three forwards, a creative CM and a CB or two.

Think that was exactly the point David Mac was trying to make. He will satisfy the happyclappers (I've been there myself I'll admit), just like all of Mark Hughes' signings did last summer.
