Hello fellow Whites. Well, guess we knew this deep down anyway when looking at our transfer activity so far. End of the season will mean quite a bit of the dross will be out of contract and gone, so hopefully better players come in. McD has a tough season ahead, simply because I feel we have quite a few "Walsall" performances in us, and there will be some downright disappointing results that hurt us. Still, we can live in hope.....

Oh, and Brown can fcuk off, sooner the better!!

We’re suffering from Ken’s legacy of debt and Warnock bringing in a load of players with no sell-on value on sizable long-term contracts. I wonder how much money we could free up in wage if we got rid of Kenny, Pearce, Brown, Norris, Hall, Varney and Drury? £60k a week? Enough to bring in 2 or 3 decent players? But who is going to take them off our hands and pay them what they’re earning at Leeds?

It’s going to take time to clear up this mess I’m afraid.

Is that a sneaky announcement of a new stadium name? Thought Leyland was in Lancashire, too, but then thats where Haigh comes from.

This "promotion in 2 years" stuff all sounds reasonable, but then so did the "January is too soon to be spending, wait for the summer" line we had 6 months ago, and prior to that the "waiting for the takeover to happen" excuse.

Good morning all, though.<ok> (even you, you sarf laarndn deluded souls - of course this will be your year, put a few grand on it, I would<laugh>)

Dam spell checker on iPhone. Struggling to communicate poolside here in Spain

You gotta hope we sign no more rubbish. I'd rather four good uns a year than eight or nine gobshites. To be fair Grayson signed some muck as well as warnock. Were not even finished shifting Grayson's pile of **** yet before moving onto Warnocks. Let's hope mcd doesn't add more to the pile

...Oh, and Brown can fcuk off, sooner the better!! Billy, you are an idiot!!! Brown showed on Tuesday night exactly why he has been retained for this season. If he can stay on his feet and not dive in, he will also possibl be offerred a one year extension in 2014/15. His contribution isn't pretty. But if he gets his job right, the glamour boys can do their job.

I think of him as a kind of watered down Batty and certainly think there's many that need shifting before him. Ironically he's probably one of the few anyone would want

Got it in one Eire. I think Norris and Tonge can certainly go before Brown. If the plan is to bring in a genuine CB, you could also make a case for Pearce moving on as well. I would have added Pugh to that list, but he is too much of a utility player. He also showed on Tuesday that he might just make a half decent stop gap CB.

We need to keep Pearce, if only as back up. Otherwise we'll need two more CBs...

I like Brown, but after this season I think that'd have to be it. Thompson could learn a lot from Brown this year though, and then potentially be his replacement in the future.

Heineken, AKA smelly socks, but each to their own...:emoticon-0105-wink:

Anyway hope you're having a good time...:emoticon-0148-yes:

Going go karting with the family in an hour after a few pints so this could end horribly. Go kart spotted on motorway to alicante maybe. Guinness is my usual tipple but I'm certainly not trying that out here
