Love to see it mate, rated him since his Porto days. Slight concern that he never establishes himself anywhere, but he's quick, and he's good on the ball.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8839013/ i think theres more to this! Maybe we took a strop over his demands???? I dont know!!!!
Do you think its worth it though??? We are in desperate need for full backs and are running out of time! We probably wont get one better than him! If you are right, its a big gamble as we are putting ourselves in prime position to be gazumped! To save a few million? Risky strategy! I would like to have seen us still pay full whack despite our doubts over his fitness! Then again, its not my money!
I do mate, mainly because valez are desperate for the moolah, ellis is playing hardball on this one i reckon and why not? Yes i think he's worth it, million miles better than bardo or gards
If he's as good as what hes supposed to be then surely clubs all over Europe will be alerted now! He'll end up going somewhere else, be superb, and we're gonna end up looking like right turnips!! I just wish we would just get him! He's worth the gamble, injured or not!
I'm absolutely with you on this mate, but if terms have been agreed with the player then we are pulling the strings, legally binding i think, where's joeisonfire when you need him?
Surely we should offer half the money now and half when he plays 30-40 games, that way if his injury doesn't play up, they'll get what they want.
They should have declared the injury, they clearly didn't so screw getting the full transfer fee in one whack.
so says the mornings journal just a guess but I would not be surprised if it is Sochaux's Sebastian Corchia. He is a highly rated footballer who was on the verge of a move to Lyon but for whatever reason it looks like the deal has fallen through. Fits the bill and holds dual nationality, I rekon you can all guess which Nation it is.... Italy Glad to see we have more than one player lined up, maybe we will go back for Peruzzi in a month or Jan or next summer but for the time being the club are focusing in a new number 1 RB rather than sitting doing nothing.
The saga continues... @FortinVillaLuro Miguel Calello en @velezradio acerca de Peruzzi: "Hay que esperar hasta el dÃa lunes para saber la decisión que toma el Sunderland". Retweeted by @SAFCsource @SAFCsource Last RT: Miguel Calello, Velez President on @velezradio about Peruzzi: We must wait until Monday to learn the decision taken by Sunderland"
this transfer saga is never going to end he is either going to end up coming and turn out like Angeleri or we miss out on him and he turns out to go on and be a top right back
Heard aswell Peruzzi will stay at Velez until December, at which time another assessment will be made. I personally hope we get Peruzzi, and another RB as we need competition in these positions.
I love Corchia. He's a head up direct attacking wing back with a bit of pace and buckets of stamina. He was heavily linked with several top, top clubs, I'd be delighted with him. I'm gonna keep mentioning Gebre Salassie of Werder, who is a top, top wing back, and would cost a pittance.
