I said when Paolo signed and I'll say it again. PDC is going to make Sunderland the place to be if a young hungry player wants to fulfill his potential. Some of the squad pictures that have been doing the rounds are simply staggering! They look like track athletes! Jury is still out for me on tactics but that's only because he hasn't had enough time to show what he can do. But my word what a squad of super mutants we have. Either strong and powerful or lean and quick, there's no inbetween. Roll on Man City. Anybody think we can take them?

I know City won today but i think they lost their two games prior to that. You never know, wouldn't have thought we would have beat them in the Premier League but we did. Looking forward to the match & I'm going for a narrow win to us, being optimistic like of course. I've got no doubt that Di Canio will think we can win it though & will be drumming that into the lads heads.

It's a great feeling lads, the hard part is keeping patient. If I could fast forward to this time next year I would. The future is looking so bright, i've never in all my life seen a Sunderland squad looking so fit. We're adopting a never say die attitude and I think the late goals like today will continue well into the season. Can you get odds on scoring the most goals in the last ten minutes? I'm going 2-1 against Man C with the winner if not both goals in the last ten minutes.

Great result.........I just cannot be negative or put it into perspective, this was against a good premiership team, not a scottish lower premier league team.........Man City bring it on...

My Gooner mate watched both games today (ours with a Spud) and said we looked the team most at the races, fittest and most desire to win the game. Says it all to me

Will remind me of the Keano days. He always said we were **** technically, but to make up for that, we would be the fittest team out there. How many games did we win going from bottom of the championship to champions because we scored more goals in the final 10minutes? Prob more than I can count on two hands.

Difference now being, we have players who are alot technically better. Going to be a good season!

Let's not get too carried away. City have amazing players and will field a strong team. A good performance from the players will do me. Would like to see Altidore grab a goal. I would also like to see Ba start instead of Larrson.
