After watching that, I think there is a slight overreaction. He may not be jumping for joy but it's his first action in pre-season in a nothing game.
Looking at the vid I think his reaction is strange, he looks like he doesn't want to celebrate with them and is trying to ignore the players.
I was actually getting quite concerned but I don't think there is anything in it after watching that video.
It doesn't look like the normal Suarez but like others have said, he only got fifteen minutes, no one else celebrates a great deal, its probably very bloody hot and more importantly, he didn't score the goal, it was scored by a teammate that he only met about two days ago, he's hardly going to jump around cuddling the **** out of him is he?
I wasn't that hot there actually, but I agree. Slight over reaction, it is still concerning for me though.
He's a sulker at the best of times. I'd suggest biting someone is a worse sign of frustration so at least he went 15 minutes without doing that....he must be staying then
Could be the game time but looked like he didn't want to mix with his team mates to me. Still on the pitch was pointing moving players around so his game wasn't that switched off. Did notice how quickly at the end when swapping shirts he pulled the Melbourne shirt over his LFC stuff but maybe splitting hairs.
Sulking is good if you want him to stay. Means he's been told to shut the feck up he's going nowhere. Smiling would mean he's gotten his own way lol.
So Suarez being Suarez huh? Not going to lie, it is getting really old this whole ****. If we have someone like a Higuain, Soldado, Damiao lined up, I would ship him in a heartbeat. I still think Suarez can be the difference this year for us but if he wants out, make sure you have good quality to come in and we don't skip a beat.
I think we've all got pre-conceived ideas about Suarez so will jump on anything to back it up. I don't think too much can be read into that, tbh. The thing is we know Suarez is, at the very least, unsettled by the uncertainty over his future,- if he stays then I expect him settle down to playing normally after the window closes when he realises nothing's going to happen and he's just got to get on with it.
I might have over-reacted a bit, but he blanked BR when he came on and was defiantly showing he was not bothered after the goal. Think I over reacted because I expected different from him. Live and learn I guess
What an over-reaction from everyone. I'm probably alone in this but I didn't see anything wrong in Suarez' body language or attitude. I think he doesn't know what the fans reactions will be to him and is being cautious in his enthusiasm or lack of. Like someone creeping back into work without making eye contact after they've done something ridiculous at the staff do!
Alberto was at CM again when he came on. Considering he was touted a CAM/Forward/Winger when he joined, does his future lie in centre midfield? He's looked bright so far.
