A bit random but just curious do any of the Fifa rating people know why j rod has gone from 76 to 70 and been changed to a LM in the recent update? Seems a bit weird to me after a good second half of the season

 

Because he's only rated 70 as a winger, if he was listed as a striker with the same attributes he'd be back in the mid seventies.

 

Why have they changed him to a winger then?? If his best attributes are as a striker then surely he is a striker

 

EA are mental. I'd ignore it if I was you, it's really hard to find the logic behind anything they do.

 

Because he played on the wing far more than he played centrally and it's meant to be a reflection of real life.

I noticed that, and got really confused. He didn't have a great start to the season so I thought that might have had something to do with it.
Mr Nice is probably right though, ratings are based on the attributes which are specific for the player's position. As Mr Nice said, J-Rod played more on the left than up top, so it would appear EA recognised this, changed his position, and the fall in rating was more than likely an unfortunate by-product of this. I doubt his actual individual attributes have fallen.

 

You do realise that FIFA ratings do not actually affect his performance on the pitch, don't you?
