Email back asking who Hull Tigers are because according to NT the company is Hull City Tigers and the football team is Hull City A.F.C.
I'd send a separate email back informing the club of what appears to be a phishing scam using the clubs details.
The email address has been @hulltigers for ages, certainly before the name of the company was changed
The domain name and company name can be totally different. I think the point the OP makes is the email is branded as Hull Tigers, rather than it coming from @hulltigers.
If it has anything to do with the clubs marketing then is that not what Nick Thompson said would happen ?
It's all very confusing really. Is this the plan? The e-mail is from Hull Tigers. The badge on the flyer is HULL CITY A.F.C. and "THE TIGERS", the header is HULL TIGERS AFC Ticket office, the address at the bottom is HULL CITY ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB LTD and the e-mail is "signed" KC Ticket Office.
The weekly email newsletter has the following at the bottom: "You received this email as a registered subscriber of Hull City FC (Hull City Association Football Club (Tigers) Limited, registered in England and Wales, Company number 4032392" It says "Hull City FC". What's happened to the "A"? The company number 4032392 has the following name: "Hull City Tigers Limited" Are they making a special effort to be incompetent or does it just come naturally?
