Aye...but the English killed William Wallaces wife.....Freedom...from one bunch of greedy politicians to another less experienced bunch of greedy politicians
My surprise at seeing this thread title by Trev then seeing that it was about Eck Salmond was massive. It is embarrassing how much you tug your forelock to the Anglos Trev, man up ffs and take control of your own future.
Why would anybody want to be ruled by a foreigner who doesn't care about you? Independence will be a marvellous thing.
Latest polls say Yes vote is now down to 31%. It reminds me of Brown not calling an election when Blair resigned. If Salmond had acted sooner he probably would have got his yes vote. He has **** all chance now. http://www.scotsman.com/the-scotsman-2-7475/politics/scottish-independence-poll-drop-in-yes-backing-1-2924728
You may be right but they love being ruled by a family born into the role who have to be of a particular religion. What can you do?
They don't rule anything, they're merely figureheads. While the current wave of gushing sycophancy is a bit sick making, they are not our rulers. That **** Cameron (note Scottish name) and his gang of posh boys are, because they got voted in, sort of.
The royals are a nuisance but not the biggest problem. Greed driven, job slashing, slave driving politicians are...and plenty of them are Scottish.
The likes of Nev and Eddie would rather be ruled by a Government in another country which gained only 16 per cent share of the vote in Scotland than be governed by a party which won an outright victory. It's pretty sad when you think about it but there you go.
It's called democracy, sometimes we will get Tories, but its better than always being stuck with the SNP
One, the vast majority of Scottish people didn't vote for the Tories so we're being ruled by a Givernment most didn't want. Democracy? Two, it's a vote for independence, not the SNP. There will be an election shortly after to decide who runs Scotland. This is the thing I come up against most often: people thinking the Independence Referendum is a vote for the SNP. It's not. It's to decide the future of Scotland. Do we want to be a grown up nation making our own decisions or continue to be ruled by a Government in London which rarely reflects the views of the majority of Scottish people?
