Is Suarez really unhappy though? I get the impression that while he may want to play for a team in the CL, if no offers come in then he'll be happy playing for LFC until a suitable offer comes in. He has said this in his recent interviews (although the media don't like to highlight that part of the interview and only concentrate on wanting to play for Real Madrid). Whilst the £40m plus £1 is rather cheeky, I can't blame Arsenal for doing it - they believe there is a release clause of £40m so why bid £50m? They bid to 'test the waters' and it looks as if there is no such release clause (however I bet Suarez and his agent may dispute this). However, with Higuain closing in on a move to Napoli, we will finally see how much Real Madrid actually want Suarez...
Hopefully the club just end their interest in Suarez and try to buy from clubs that will actually sell to us
That might be what Arsenal are hoping but I can't see him being that desperate to join us just because we might be in the champs league
Even if Arsenal were to have a bid for Suarez accepted, what would you pay him? It's a non-srarter. Real Madrid will bid less and get him imo
As usual a confused Schofield! Arsenal just look stupid. Nice tweet from Henry. Madrid now know that if they do want to bid for Suarez then they will not be taken seriously unless the bid is closer to £60m than £40.
Arsenal fans have very short memories. It isnt too many seasons ago that Gooners were claiming Fabregas would go for £60M In the end the Player will get what he wants. And Liverpool wil only get what Madrid will pay, not what they want.
Acc to Graham Hunter Madrid not in for Suarez, in for Bale. Also according to my sources they are not in for another foward to replace Higuain, CR will play more central. Ancelotti to put faith in Morata, Jese and Benzema.
Higuain is having a medical at Napoli according to Sky Sources. It is Suarez or bust now. Lets hope Madrid go after Bale instead.
BBC Sport ‏@BBCSport 2m Liverpool striker Luis Suarez wants to hold talks with Arsenal over a potential move to the London club http://bbc.in/18BhAkV #afc #lfc Article is by Ornstein who is very reliable.
Seems logical. I can't see Madrid in for both Bale and Suatez and I'm 100% sure if they had to pick one it'd be Bale
