MITO, I apologise. I've retraced this afternoon's little spat and can now see that in the end we both seek the same thing! It is sad that we have both clubs and individuals engaging in a classic 'double-speak' scenario when quite frankly a little honesty would achieve a lot more.
I would give a years wages for a piggy back off Robbie On an earlier subject PR and Rogers don't mix but i honestly don't think he gives a ****.
Sounds like the Cissokho deal is getting closer. First choice or back up for Enricky? Talkshite also linking us with Soldado again. Can't see us paying the price of his (reported) release clause somehow.
I know. I'd love us to go for him but I just can't see it somehow. I agree Cissokho will be back up but if Suarez was to stay (big if I know) I wonder if he'll push Enricky further forward in certain games. They linked up well when he did it last season.
Think Cissokho would be ok on a loan (hopefully we can get Valencia to pay some wages, or is it only us that do that for clubs? ) He'll be back up for Enrique, but from what I remember of him he likes to get forward so would provide plenty of width. Could also mean Enrique get's pushed into the wide left role that he played well in a few times last year. Wonder if Robinson is being lined up on loan for a lower Prem club and depending how he/Cissokho get on this year, will determine if we make it permanent of if Robinson is kept as number 2.
I don't mean to sound ignorant but who? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...p-10m-bid-for-Palermo-midfielder-Josip-Ilicic
Back-up? I think he will provide direct competition and if JE doesn't buck his game up it will easily be Cissokhos place. Really hope this goes through, been wanting this for a while actually.
you will be lucky to get them to pay some wages, they are in big financial trouble, that's why they are selling their top player's
Cissokho will be direct competition IMO - both are versatile in that they can also play LW if required as well. I would be happy if we got him but I can think of other areas that we need first team signings for.
For the price that's being touted, I'd be surprised if it made a difference to any other potential signings, especially considering how much money has been shifted on the wage bill. Well in an ideal world that is.
