    They're never going to pay £30m for Morgan, he's more valuable to us this season than anyone will be willing to pay, it's not like his contract is running down and we need to decide whether to cash in. Plus Morgan doesn't strike me as the sort to mess about trying to force a move. He'll be here next season, although if he has a season as good as the last one we could start to struggle after that.

    Looks like Damiao is off to Zenit St Petersburg then.

    Can't say I'm that disappointed, especially at the sort of money he has asked for!

    Seeing as we know he's after Fabregas, and also knowing your partner's, shall we say, attraction, towards our French laddie, I would say that any bid for Morgan would just lead to Cortese recognising the player's ability more and more. A flat refusal may offend, so he might have to resort to the equine solution to make his point crystal clear.

    Don't think next season is a problem it's the season after with only 2 years left on his contract. If we are pushing for top 4 or 6 he just might stay?

    Would rather have the don on my side every time. Moyes might just find the the pressure for instance success too much and will always be reminded of who went before. Not a nice position to be in. Good luck to him but who cares!
