He seems to have been unlucky with injuries, but, now he's back and by all accounts had a decent game at Motherwell. This has to be make or break for him with us this season. Personally, I don't see the point on sending him out on loan and think he should be part of the First Team squad. He was well sought after across Europe before he signed, and it would be a waste, if we just let him drift off to fulfil his promise elsewhere.
I dont think we should send him out on loan either, has undoubted class just a shame with his injuries, if he could stay fit he could be a starter within 2 seasons
agree this is make or break for him although I think we said that last season before he was injured again. No his day a very good squad player with potential to be a success
Can't believe he's still so young, I swear he's been 20 for about 5 years now. I'm sure he made his debut in the Championship, so imagine if he'd been injury-free from then!
Had a good game against WBA agesssssss ago, then got injured and was never seen again. I suspect the Teletubbies are behind it, as I haven't seen them since either, and nobody is going to convince me that that's because I've just not bothered putting on morning TV since the hoover they live with became a slut. I wonder if they let him watch Newcastle games on their tummies in whichever grimy den their keeping him...
Looks a talented lad and ideal as a number 10 option. problem is he is incredibly lazy and very injury prone.
Everytime I've seen him play for us is what makes me think so. I like him in terms of passing and he looks to possess a rasping shot. However he will not close down **** all. If he doesn't have the ball he doesn't move basically. Just one of those luxury players you have to accept will not do jot defensively. Whether there is room for that or whether you can get him to change is another question of course. As it stands though on all visual evidence, the lad is bone idle.
Taraabt, without the flashes of inspiration. Unfortunately, I may add - his reputation really did precede him. Then left before he actually turned up.
