Lol yes we have learned that following through is not for most of our members, as most seem to have the attention spans of a geriatric gold fish
I was only joking pal It did pass the time but I think the tactics etc were a step too far, made for too much detail / reading
Greatest: Either my hat trick in a game against a team we hadn't beat at home in like 12 years (play two home games against each team each year, high school) and an assist in our 4-0 win, or my best goal, a screamer from the half line that went over the keeper. The keeper had been at the 6 yard box, but couldn't get to it before it dipped in. Worst: One game, I beat three players and was on my own besides their keeper, and I stepped on the ball (I think there was a hole.) Needless to say, I didn't score. Then I did it again. We still won, but that was awful.
and I once conceded a goal in the school gym in a class league, it was a clearance from the other teams keeper, it went between my legs Reminded of that till I finished school
Best: I played for my old work team (Tesco Highwoods) and we played Tesco Braintree and their team was full of Braintree Town players and we beat them 7-1 with me captaining and having a blinder in defence Worst: Playing my first game for my current works team... I had played awful all game (first proper game in about 3 years) and it cumulated in me scoring a deciding own goal in the last minute from a botched clearance
Coaches player of the year. Worst - running up to take a penalty and missing the ball when I was about 7. Still haunts me now!
