    Email Tuesday 16th July 2013:

    Dear brb,

We're sorry to hear that you've decided to leave Gills Player.

Are you sure you want to pass on all of these exclusive benefits?

Er...I have not left Gills Player...hence I promptly send email...to then get this reply...

We can confirm that you had a 12 month gift subscription to the site under this email ID and it was expired on XX-XX-2013.

You have then tried to resubscribe on 16-Jul-2013 but unfortunately the transaction didn’t go through due to payment failure and your access to the site was denied.

This is obviously now going to become painful...I send another email, repeating to check their records for a second time, I did not attempt to resubscribe on the 16th July, YOU sent me an email on that date, saying my account had been disconnected. I had resubscribed at a cost of £42.99 some months back and have a statement to prove it, therefore my subscription is not due to end until the finish of the 2013/14 season.

Now pending next load of excuses to why my account has been disconnected <grr>

Automated systems, don't you just love them!

I've given up wasting my money on it tbh..too many administrative and technical issues.

I've never signed up to it as I feel its an un-needed expense. I can see why people go for it but Im willing enough to wait an extra few hours/day to get the actual interview from players or manager to read. If i want commentary, I use the cover it live service or listen to Radio Kent, much cheaper than having to pay out for Player.

It's great if you don't live in Kent as its the only way I've found to get live commentary and the highlights

sounds like you may have a contender for the AGRS thread - I'm keen to learn more - just so that I can gain maximum pleasure from my lack of sympathy. ( what goes around etc )

lol - I was going to put this in the AGRS thread. Anyway don't worry about your lack of sympathy, they got so fed up with my moaning they just sent me a code and all fixed now.
