I think Dawson would be a great aquistion unlike that plonker Mills total waste of space.Yes your right I,m feeling better and I don,t like M Mills
http://www.foxsports.com.au/footbal...and/story-e6frf4gl-1226678521569#.UePZJI3DkUs Craig Goodwin from Newcastle Jets is looking to join Leeds. He had a trial with Reading back in April
Good winger Hopefully Josh can tell us a bit more about him but I've seen a few bits from him and he looks class. Hard to say what impact he could have over here though.
I agree Craig Dawson would have been a great addition, but WBA seem set to keep him. Plus I get the feeling that Bolton were only offloading Matt Mills because they thought they had Craig Dawson lined up. So it could be plan G time.
To be honest, I don't know much about the lad. Only seen Newcastle Jets play a few times and don't really remember him catching my eye too much but then I was watching em against Brisbane Roar everytime who have tended to walk the league the last couple seasons (except for last season when they randomly all of a sudden became terrible). What I do know though is that the quality here is probably around league 2 level in England. Its not as good as the american league either so thats not to say there might not be any gems but the league really is yet to develop into a good standard imo
We've been linked with Ed Upson from Yeovil, a 23 year old midfielder. Personally can't see this happening
Word is we have put in a 400K bid for Kasper Gorks. So I am assuming he is plan B and Mills is a non runner. Can't say I am that impressed if it's true. He didn't excactly help shore up the Wolves defence when he went there on loan last season. (although admittedly playing next to Rodge the bodge wouldn't excactly inspire him, lol) The only thing is that he has played for McD before and so maybe that's a slight bonus.
At his age he'd become deadwood as soon as he'd signed - this time next year he'll be another one we can't shift. Thankfully, can't see this one happening
Gorkss was first choice centre half in two successive Championship winning sides - don't see why he's being met with so much negativity. On a 2 year deal he'd be decent.
Some of you won't like this, but Pugh had a decent game at CB last night. We do definitely need a genuine CB with presence to marshall the back 4. But Pugh showed last night that he might be a decent stop gap.
**** that Boggers, We have shown in recent years you don't get anywhere by having stop gaps and square pegs in round holes
If true and we let him go, he'll be a decent acquisition for the Windies given that he can play in a number of positions.
I did hear that an enquiry has been made for one of our players and the manager has not ruled out bringing in one more new face before Saturday. The manager still says his target is a critical signing so it has to be Mills as his team captain?
