Think some of you know but if you don't its just that ive changed my OZ date from 16th September to 24th March, 3 reasons mainly, So I can spend my 21st here with family and friends as well as Christmas and I cant waste my new city ST! I only miss the last 4 home games so its not all bad. So im with you until then
ill have my own party in oz! if we get to the JPT final then yeah ill be gutted as it will be about 2 weeks after I leave but they'll show it over there im sure
No they don't show JPT matches in OZ as far as I can remember from chatting to some fans on line from Oz
oh right, Would of thought they would have shown it as its on sky sports. Might be able to find a British pub that show the games.
Just wait until City are running away with the League One title prior to your departure Shiny and you will cancel the move. Hang on just wait a minute, what am I saying, we haven't got a chance so hang on to your ticket and the best of British to you mate. Best move you'll ever make and never look back, and if you decide to retire back to the place of your birth City may no longer be around.......! lol..............!
Mike, I'll be going hoping city will be running away with the title and wont feel gutted about leaving if that's the case either, I'd be more gutted if we were sat 13th trying to get into the play offs or if we did make it to the play off final and won id kick myself like crazy! so im hoping for a top 2 finish
That's 2 of us emigrating mate, you to the other side of the world and me to the darker side of Bristol, alongside all of those tumbleweeds....
I'll be there for Christmas 2013/2014 for the ashes, which can be watched free of charge on Channel nine, not forgetting that Channel nine can cram THREE adverts into every over.
I went on a 3 week cricket tour there in 1998/99 - loved the place. We played 6 games (everyone played 3) and also saw England v Australia (Gough hat trick) at the SCG (wore my City shirt) The Australians were incredible hosts - my experience is that they are sport mad - so if you like sport they will love you
Shiny - go and rent "Priscilla - Queen of the Desert" from your local DVD center and enjoy all the culture that Oz has to offer...........
If you end up in Cairns, theres a pub called the Wool Shed in the centre that screens premier league, championship and all cup final matches. I was there in 04 and watch the final of something .. I was drunk though. The place is full of travelers, and alot of Brits keeping track of football.
Sorry back again was taken into the bloody hospital again last night so didn't finish what I was typing.
