In a new series, I intend to find out which factors affect a player reaching his potential, including examples to follow and examples to avoid. Part 1: Versatility - a poisoned chalice? http://hitrowz.com/2013/07/16/fulfilling-potential-part-1/
You do realise that that link suggests Joe Cole moved to Chelsea and won honours galore whereas Bale only made it due to an injury to Assou-Ekotto If you're going to do this on HCAFC forum at least make it more relevant ie using City players (past and present)
I must point out that we are now Hull Tigers, if you could refer to us by our proper name please. Sorry if this sounds aggressive, it's not, it's purely educational.
In the PL you get time on the ball and that will suit our team well. The only down side is in both boxes where quality rules. I have no doubts on our ability to defend well just the other end................
To be honest, SB has always been a fan of mixing youth with experience. But honestly, I think our best prospect at the minute is Conor Townsend and he's nowhere near ready for a PL debut. We might see Dougie Wilson or CJM make their league debuts at the end of the season (CJM sooner if he impresses enough in the cups/on loan) but I highly doubt we'll see any youth players making a valid contribution this season, it's too much of a risk with so much riding on it.
