Are we gonna spend or are the Allams taking back their money?

Our signings so far can be classed as either shrewd or underwhelming?

I am undecided but with £6m spent on players so far we have certainly got a lot for our money.

Now of course I do not want a repeat of our last escapade in the PL and the royal **** up made with the clubs finances, but we have made a lot more money from promotion this time and it makes me wonder if Assem and Ehab are putting a bit back in their pockets?

If they are I find it hard to blame them.

I don't think the signings are underwhelming, I think they representing value for money. Just because you spend millions on a player, doesn't make them worth millions. The Allams are paid back by the club for the loan given by the Allams I believe, but they cant just remove money from the club.

WTF - are you for real? A patron ? Allow me to watch? Didn't realise that's what successive owners have had me fooled into doing for the past 40 odd years.

    Seriously?

I would say, of the 3 promoted sides, we have done the best business so far.

And, for the 5,673th time, DON'T PANIC!

You worked there as a subby in the office and had to move on under a cloud of alleged breach of trust if I recal correctly. Hardly high flying insider knowledge.

As for the future, if it pans out to be as bleak as you reckon, it'll die rapidly. Fortunately there is quite a lot of activity and talks which point in a different direction. The clever money is starting to realise the flaw in pandering to souless types that sit in an audience rather than form part of a passionate crowd.

It'll take a long time to rectify the damage done, but people are looking to the European model.

Failing that, we could pay 20p for Coventry and rename it Hull City now the name's becoming available. <ok>

They released figures earlier explaining where all the money from promotion was going. They explained we would be lucky to break even this year and were figuring on spending 15 million on new signings. (would take to long to find the link but I remember us talking about it and it seemed to check out) With a lot of time left it does not appear to me that they are taking anything and putting it in their pockets. We just need to give it some time and see where the extra is spent.
