    If only there was an easy flight to Dresden... Beautiful city to have a look around, terrible place to get to from the UK! I last went from my in-laws' in the Czech Republic. That took 3 hours on a train (that stupidly passes through Poland for about a mile) for what is about an hours drive.

    It's the industrial east! There's not much to know about it really. They've rebuilt the Frauenkirche (only finished it a few years back). Looks nice now. germany-frauenkirche.jpg

    If Dresden (and Hamburg??) does go ahead, don't HCFC want us there?

    FFS Chinas the other side of the World and there were hundreds there.

    Plenty would have gone to Germany with a bit of notice. We're off to Portugal, having ****ed about with our travel plans to get the 2nd game in. Germany was do-able with advance notice, but some of us have got 'proper' jobs to go to.

    FFS City - right royal balls up. Disapointing.

    Bruce mentioned this last night to Burnsy off mike. Nothing about Hamburg though.

    Going to Dresden they may as well find a side in Poland to play if Hamburg does not happen. Lol.
