Yes but we're in business despite Bates rather than thanks to him. He left the club mired in debt thanks to mortgaging future season ticket income and wasting millions on stadium redevelopment. Make no mistake, if GFH hadn't come in we would have gone bust last season. Bates is a crook and a shyster. He almost bankrupted Chelsea and almost did the same to us last year.
 
Got to totally agree with Jason here as everyone was saying that Bates had stabalised the business and couldn't go into administration again ...... Well we would have done if he hadn't have sold to GFH. He raped us blind and profited from player sales in a huge way until we were left with nohing. If that £7m Bates invested in the ground (That we don't own) had been put into the team we would have won promotion and we should have won back to back promotions if we had spent money in January a couple of years ago when we were 2nd but stumbled and finished 7th. Wasted years down here hurts us financially
 
The people that believe Bates have been reeled in hook line and sinker by that horrible man.

He took Leeds over added to debts (by taking loans out from himself) crippled us, took us into admin and when the admin asked to write off the debt he said that he would only write off the debt (he had created himself) if the club was sold to himself.

Other people offered more money (including Steve Parking) and were told where to stick it meaning there was only one person who could "save" Leeds United by choice not because nobody else wanted to.

Load of ****ing **** that a suprisingly big amount of Leeds fans believe he's our saviour

But that stops now, anything from here on in is down at the feet of the new owners. They told us transparency, they told us we have no debt, they told us that the manager would be backed. I am not saying they have or haven't done any of these things, just repeating what they told us fans.

I need someone with a piss taking sense of humour and then there's Showoff who jacked the job in months ago but is never around and can't be trusted with piccies! <whistle>

Jacked the job in months ago but Roy hasn't stripped him of the mod tools - if only Showoff knew what to do with them! <laugh>
