The same Danny graham that scored the 2nd goal in the carling cup semi at Stamford bridge?

    Yes thought so.

I'm with DJ on this, far better than the likes of Austin and hooper would be a quality addition for the right money

We don't need Bardsley and to be honest, don't want his type.

Graham is a Championship player playing in the Prem don't want him and there is better out there.

Cattermole ticks loads of boxes for us, but the way things are going this Summer summat will crop up and we wont end up getting him.

If we were in the Championship we'd be quite happy if we had the money to be paying £4M for a proven Championship striker like Graham (Austin, Hooper, etc) to come in and fire us to promotion and then hoping they can step up with us. I don't really see a definite downside to these deals in the PL. If we sign Graham for around that amountnow there are a few ways it can go:

    1) He's a success at PL level and we stay up - the fee is justified and we build again
    2) He's a success at PL level and we go down - the fee is justified as we can resell him hopefully for a profit
    3) He's not a success and we stay up - the fee isn't justified for us, but we're not too fussed as we can sell him to a Championship side and recoup most of the money and we've stayed up.
    4) He's not a success and we go down - the fee is justified to a large degree as we have a proven Championship striker for a fee we'd be prepared to pay for one that summer. No danger of losing him to a PL club as he's just shown he can't cut it at that level, so we'd only risk losing him to other Championship clubs, and with FFP and our parachute payments none of them can compete with us for his wages.

The only downside is if we miss out on another player as a result of signing Graham and that other player proves to be more of a success, but there's a gamble in that that comes with any transfer.

Safc fans have watched him week in week out but that doesn't mean **** as he did well once(!)

That being said, we need a cm more than anything. Someone who can tackle like ash, has the vision of koren and who can pass like Bullard (he was a tit but can't deny his ability). We could have RVP up top but if we've no one to get the ball off the other side and then lay it on for the forwards, it all goes to ****.

    Until PDC came, yes!

Graham was still slow, fat and **** though.

Bardsley and Cattermole would certainly improve you though and two players I like.

Thinking about Catts (not strictly on topic, I know) but after Austin failed his medical there's every chance Catts would also, he's had a lot of problems with his knee.

So Graham isn't good enough either?

I'm starting to think that most people on here are mental.

He got lucky at Swansea. They have got a good team, direct passing right up to in and around the box creating plenty of chances. Something us and you cannot do.

His goals to shots ratio is really bad and if a teams not creating chances its hard for him to get many chances.
