Relax, we're HCAFC and we rarely sign a striker when we think we need one..

I reckon someone like Troy Deeney will have been contacted by Bruce..

if not who would take a punt on Delroy Facey??

Unfortunately I think we'll find Fryatt it too slow, but if he sets off now he should get to Ferriby on time. <laugh>

I wouldn't get your hopes up about Proschwitz pulling it out the bag next season, he'll likely be shipped out on loan.

I can't see it mate, loaning him out would mean having to bring in another striker on top of the two we already need. I think he'll be used as an impact sub/cup player next season.

I don't know whether Matty Fryatt will be good enough for the Premier league or not but do find it pretty bizarre how many people have written it off as a possibility. In the 18 months before he got injured, he had a very reasonable scoring record, particularly considering the defensive nature of the team and the fact that Barmby basically played him as a one man strike force in a role that didn't suit him. Given how much more Bruce has got out of certain other players, I will be very interested to see if Matty can step up, and find the 'I hate Fryatt' comment pretty pathetic.

and you dot think that his lengthy injuries have had an impact on
his ability? he was overweight last time I saw.
Saying a player was this good x amount of months ago is irrelevant. He can maybe turn it round but at this moment in time it's normal to feel a little apprehensive.
