Totally agree with this. Why is it half the posts on here these days end up being slanging matches between posters. It is about time you all ****ing grow up
Think it was more a case of Saturday night and the 'keyboard warriors' had had a few shandys too many.
One poster in particular had the keyboard-banging air of someone who was a little tired and emotional. Heat and booze - don't you just love it! At the risk of getting back on topic, the Daily Star Sunday has suggested Bruce is set to swoop but also mentions Bendtner's £52k a week wage demands. Given that it's the Daily Star Sunday, which is basically bog roll with ink on it, a pinch of salt is required.
If he costs less that 3 million and has wages of 25k id take a punt. Or a year loan. Not convinced about him though.
Think the heat is getting to some posters judging by some of the disgusting comments i've just read. On to Bendtner - considering Bruce has had him at 2 clubs he must know the character and ability of the player - and certainly it would be the marquee signing of our transfer window.
I'd love to know who we genuinely are interested in and not just lazily linked with by some papers. we must have reached a dozen strikers linked now? odemwingie cole hooper Austin mphela mboyo bentdner le fondre Utrecht striker mbokani probably more as well how many more before we actually sin one? and how many of those were genuine links?
I'd not considered Bendtner as I thought he'd be beyond us. But if Bruce can get him in he'd be a great signing. Need a crafty little striker with pace to play up along with him - Odemwingie would be perfect.
Guy is a train wreck waiting to happen.... Involved in a new "scandal" this weekend in Denmark, http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbol...elsk_fodbold/PremierLeague/article2040819.ece Elbowed a girl and later gave the comment "Then he looked at me and said, 'Who do you think they throw out, you or me?' Says Sarchar Leone to bt.dk." Google translate of the article below "Nicklas Bendtner currently have serious trouble finding a future employer, as more and more clubs slams the door striker. At the same time struggling Bendtner apparently still facing problems in nightlife." Tonight it went beyond the 35-year-old former Miss Fitness, Sarchar Leone. It writes bt.dk . According Leone was optrinnet in the Copenhagen in-place Simons Nightclub last night, where she was with her boyfriend. Here she fell into conversation with a girl from Bendtner's company, then Arsenal striker even tried to get attention and, among other things gave her an elbow as she turned her back on him. She therefore sought an explanation from Bendtner. - Then he looked at me and said, 'Who do you think they throw out, you or me?' Says Sarchar Leone to bt.dk." Do we really want a guy like this in the squad? He got banned from the national team for 6 months due to drink driving in march http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tner-drink-driving-Banned-Denmark-months.html
Click on the link and then click on sex and samliv at the top of the page.....Whats samliv mean Febbos?
Haha Those Danes.... Hard to translate, but something like "Cohabitation/Living together without really being together as a couple)
So if any of Odemwingie, Taarabt, Mboyo or Bendtner sign, we're going to have a bit of an exodus of fans aren't we? Maybe not Odemwingie but there will be some who took his transfer malarky to heart. I'm pretty sure SB will be interested in at least one. Face it, most footballers are ****s to some degree. We're all hoping to sign a striker, but every one that we're linked with people are shooting down. Some of these will be genuine targets, so how about a little blind faith? Hey, it works for Al-Queda and they're very happy.
Think it is all a little bit silly as Bendtner is on 52k a week and I doubt very much he would take a 50% pay cut to fit into our budget.
I initially thought that, but Arsenal want rid and he's in his last year, so there's a chance of a subsidised loan.
50% Of his wages paid by the Arse, and I think we'd be silly not to take him on loan. Any problems he goes straight back.
If they want rid that badly they may offer a gentleman's handshake in terms of subsidising a portion of his wages until the end of his contract. Realistically he has to accept that beyond this season, no one is going to offer him anywhere near those sort of terms.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ve-Harper-set-Hull-medical-agreeing-deal.html "Hull are also working on a £4.5m deal for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner after moves to Eintracht Frankfurt and Malaga fell through." Sounds like it may not end up being a loan.
