If you's on about boozing then yes. In at Hyde park for the stones. Footy wise I say it as I see it, and cairney (sort of) aside, when was the last time a youth player got a proper chance in a proper team doing well, and not just thrown in at the end when were struggling. Even cairney was thrown into a struggling **** team and managed to turn it around.
He played well tbh... Runs like gay but his goal was very well worked... That Wilson kid looked good.
I reserve judgement on the new ones, but up to now I can't think of any young reserve players that have justified a place in the first team. It seems as if the club spend years and considerable money training a second string before dumping them when someone finally accepts they're not going to make the grade.
But no one ever knows if they will truly make the grade, likeisay I can't remember a young player ever getting a chance in a strong and confident side, it's always when were struggling and playing like ****e, and one player doesn't make a team. Our young players are thrown into almost impossible circumstances and if they don't look like world beaters they're just discarded. I'd like to see one of them thrown in when were on a run and playing well alongside confident players, then see what they're really capable of.
Difficult situation though, Brucey's not just gonna drop someone for one of the youngsters if we were on a good run unless there was nothing to play for and if you look at us in recent years it's rare that we've been on a good run AND have nothing to play for.
Bull****man, name one player who could have done good things in that situation? The only remote one is cooper, atkinson, cullen etc are ****e I have high hopes for clappison and wilson though, we shall see Compare our academy to say uniteds for example and you'd be be shoxked how many youth players dont make it in any level, we are a small club aith an even smaller academy and inly get players in this region, there just has not been the quality of player yet
So because a young player is signed from Dulwich - 90% of fans have already made up their minds that he won't be any good. He's young, he's a future prospect and every player has to start somewhere.
You probably know more about jahraldo than any one here. Is there anything you can tell us about him?
Well he was at the boxing last night. Seems to have the right attitude. http://web.stagram.com/n/callybwoy/
Look at the pics he's cool as ****, something we're sadly lacking. This kids going to make it i can feel it.
Can't be sure buy reckon it must be. I like the cut of his jib. Seems like a young kid, hungry to succeed and living the dream. I hope he does us proud.
