He certainly talks the talk and is making all the right noises. I've had a quick scan of some NFL forums and they all seem to think relatively highly of him, for what it's worth. The proof is in the pudding and all that...

Yes, after the first shock of change, I'm feeling more optimistic about this. Certainly the public messages coming from the Khan team are very congruent with most Fulham fans approach.

I think we should expect to be signing another McBride/Dempsey/Bocanegra at some stage soon. One article I read pointed out his "axis" of interest from Jacksonville FL to Chicago IL and the marketing potential for Fulham in this region. All this to be reciprocated by "home" matches for the Jags @ Wembley and the potential for him basing a NFL franchise in London. It looks like a serious business plan to me.

Mr Khan has previous with Stan Kroenke from Arsenal and will want to beat him to establishing NFL over here I think.

It's early days and I suppose we shall just have to wait and see.

I'm pleased that he sees the expansion of the Riverside and vital. That gives me the indication that the Cottage will remain our home.

I'm not sure of this NFL thing and I'll be honest I'd never heard of the Jaguars before this week. It's been tried before and not been successfully in the UK and a lot of money was spent. I've only watched a bit of a game once whilst in the USA and I fell asleep during it. Not sure what to make of it yet.

I wouldn't worry too much about the NFL thing. He seems to go to length to make clear that FFC and the Jaguars are two separate entities and will remain so. I imagine there will be advantages taken of our affiliation but we won't be seeing Brede or Amore playing 'Murkan Handball any time soon, or anything like that (although I imagine that would be entertaining).

Also, a key quote from Khan:

I am not a micro- manager so the business I developed — which is auto parts, from a garage to where we are now — there was a key lesson, which is to find the best people, empower them and support them.

"My goal would be to support the football leadership and business leadership, give them all the resources, money and otherwise, and expect results.

Sounds reasonable.

Read that Khan has already sealed a deal where the Jaguars will play one game every season in London, but I'm pretty sure this agreed upon quite some time before he took over Fulham.

Yes MB these games have been on the cards for a while now.

At the same time, this transfer of ownership has not happened overnight...it's just MAF's (and I hope Shere Khan's) way of doing business - our real transfers are almost always unknown until complete, as was the sale.
