Shea Shea for me also 4-1 skinny considering the opposition but not unbackable :D

I'm having to take on Pricewise, ROTO, Nass and others in opposing Educate with Clon Brulee; and taking on Stick's Dance and Dance with Redvers who IMO would have gone close LTO with a clearer run.

Bet y'all are breathing easier now :D

    Hi All,

One for me tomorrow who I have followed:

    3:30 York - Hoof It

If in the form of 2011 wins he takes this. Gone well fresh before and at 11/2 am willing to take the chance he is. Ground ok. Draw a negative as market rivals drawn low but fingers crossed shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck everyone with your bets.

After my bout of seconditis on Friday (Moviesta @ 8/1 and Love Island @ 11/1 touched off) just marginally compensated by Kikonga @ 7/2, I should probably be steering clear of these and sticking to Ascot...

In the Superlative Stakes, I may end up chasing my Ascot loses on Somewhat as the Johnston yard drew a rare blank at the Royal meeting and a couple of the other failures have come out and won since; plus the Chesham does tend to throw up a few decent winners from the also-rans.

Society Rock owes me from the Jubilee but if one is going to floor Shea Shea it will be his Ascot conqueror Lethal Force. It will be interesting to see how Gale Force Ten fares dropped to sprinting.

In the Silver Cup at York, I really like Sun Central as I think that he will ultimately turn out to be more than a handicapper.

Most of the card on the Knavesmire will have punters resorting to the sponsor’s product and I think I will be skipping the feature race as two or three that I would fancy on form have double-digit draws.

A fitting tribute from Alistair Down for owner David Johnson on The Morning Line. R.I.P. David.

If one applies a couple of basic statistics to the July Cup (9 of 10 recent winners were aged 3, 4 or 5; and most ran at Royal Ascot last time), all the following can be eliminated: Havelock, Shea Shea, Society Rock, Sole Power, Hamza, Slade Power.

That halves the field and (of the fancied runners) leaves Lethal Force and Gale Force Ten as the two most likely winners. May the Force be with you!

    1:55 Ascot - Miss Lahar 25/1
    2:05 Newmarket - Muharrib 13/2
    2:30 Ascot - Aesops Fables 25/1
2:55 York - Educate 7/1 Roto still seems confident with this one so i'll give it one more chance, do like Tres Coronas in the same race however
3:15 Newmarket - Dance and Dance 10/1 Bloody Stick, had decided against this but now back on, Brae Hill would be my alternative
    3:50 Newmarket - Shea Shea 4/1 NAP

I think Lethal Force is a cert to win the July Cup and 5/1 is tremendous each way value in case he encounters traffic problems. Improving horse who's already top rated in the field. Proven group one winner over 6f. Proven on the ground. Really can't see a situation where he's not top three and is by far the most likely winner. If it's not a couple of lengths I'll be surprised.

there is so much racing today (actually far too much - sort it out schedulers!)that it is hard to know where to start.

Aljamaaheer is probably my NAP of the day though. I have always liked this horse, and backed it each way when it came 2nd in the Queen Anne.
Each way fancies in this race today are Premio Loco and Red Jazz.

Ryan Moore has his usual good book of rides at Newmarket with Defendant, Dutch Courage and Good Old Boy Lukey all likely to go close but perhaps the most interesting is aboard Gale Force Ten in the July Cup. He beat a good field in the Jersey Stakes and came 2nd to Magician at the Curragh. Although this is a tough task this is surely a very good each way bet.

In the 3.15 I agree with Stick and think that Dance and Dance has a great chance but I am going to continue with a horse that I backed last week at Sandown - Es Que Love. Interesting jockey booking of Johnny Murtagh I think he can finally get the win his recent performances have deserved.

Over 7f in the Jersey and 1 mile it the Irish Classic and he seemed to need the trip both times. I don't understand why they run him here but I think there's absolutely no chance he wins today. Is he even goin to place against some very good sprinters? Doubt it.

I've always liked Hoof It. My only worry would be if he's being aimed at the Stewards Cup and isn't quite ready.

My second Breeze Up runner goes in the 2-15 Chester. Extreme Supreme was tried very highly for his debut, being thrown into the Norfolk Stakes. Unsuprisingly he started at about 66-1 and only managed to beat 2 home. A lot lower in grade today, he is being noticeably supported in the market, best priced 7-2 and I'm saddling him. With my dough that is :D
