Fair play. It's a little immature, probably going to cost him his job, but I can't believe we are moaning about it. If it was the other way round, we'd probably think it was hilarious

Rags have often been used to provide cheap insulation in the past so nothing new here.

The one thing this little clip did was to remind me that PFC or whatever it is called these days (they seem to have changed their name with alarming regularity over the years) is still around not that one hears a great deal about that insignificant non-entity anymore.

It is also rather interesting that a rather thick Pompey building labourer has to come to Southampton to get work as I can't see any building work going on at Fratton Park for a long while yet.

To be honest it was all rather silly and more than a little tiresome but then that is how I have always described their fans' behaviour.

In years to come when they pull the building down, should the shirt survive, people will say "who the hell was Portsmouth". Someone else will say "oh that used to be Saints rivals but you don't hear anything about Portsmouth these days". "They are the team that pop in and out of the league because they could not get anyone to give them any credit because they never pay their debts"........

I can understand this. If I had a Pompey shirt I would probably want to hide it where nobody would find it, to save any possible embarrassment.

We may also be assuming too much about their intentions. The poor souls may simply not be terribly bright, and took the sponsor's logo for an instruction.

To be honest I would be hiding my head in shame if one of our fans did that. Maybe the placement of the shirt itself, but the video? I would be embarrassed to call myself a Saint for a while if a Saints fan did that. What a Moron.

It's only a sacking offense if he's breached building regulations by using substandard materials. Although come to think of it, anything associated with the fish fiddlers is bound to be substandard.

But it will give him street cred(Pompey style) for years. The sheer bravery makes one shudder. Behind enemy lines and all that crap.

Can only imagine that there is a semi naked pompey builder holding the camera. Seen quite a few of them wearing their shirts to work. Never understood it myself. If doing such work, I would wear something that didn't matter if it got ruined.

It just proves they don't wear their shirts with pride....as they leave them at the oppositions camp. They obviously got fed up of wearing it...<laugh>

My Pompey mate just rang me and said......"when you have morons doing things like that in the name of Pompey....is it no wonder that more and more clubs are isolating Pompey for the garbage it has become". That from a Pompey fan of over 65 years!!! How much lower can they crawl?............

That is exactly why they wear them.

That's because most of them have only got one shirt.

It's ok, the building inspector has snagged the wall for a structural weakness. It was in danger of total collapse.

The account has removed that video from YouTube.

One of the Saints fans on Twitter saved the video, and now the Echo are asking him to send them the footage.

Well it looks as though there are a few sensible Pompey fans around, judging from your friend's statement there. Unfortunately, they may be a dwindling bunch.

Who's to say the morons aren't a dwindling bunch? After all, all teams have them.
