Yeah agree totally, he is on board, lets sit back and watch the lad fly.[/QUOTE] Well lets face it, as inconsistent as he's been, he's never looked like not being included in the starting 11, thinking maybe some complacency had set in. Now he's got a better quality of versatile player (if our transfers come off) biting at his heels. He needs to up his game and I think he will, I think he'll blow my mind and inflame my prostate by raping me with his class.

Only sell if you can replace with younger of same quality. That'd cost £20m I reckon so keep at all costs
No, You work on the engine and get it running at it's best. A car with a replacement engine loses it's overall value.
Sess' for me flatters to decieve. He can beat a man easy however his final pass and his shooting is lousy. Play can just as easily break down with him as setting up an attack. Do we sell, well no not if we don't need to. If we have to sell sess to create a better team then yes we do.
I don't think Sess was actually going to be sold - unless some stupid bid came in. If that was the case for any of our lot, then they'd go. No one is that important to a club like ours. Last season, I wouldn't have been too bothered if we sold him this window. I didn't buy into this "best player by a mile" stuff because I've seen him be too wasteful with clear cut chances, or too greedy when he had the chance to pass. However. Under PDC, I believe Sess could flourish. I think PDC recognises the talent and individuality. I don't think he'd even consider building a team around him, in fact it's stupid to say that about any one player, anywhere. Sess has often been a shining light in the fog of mediocrity and apathy that has been SAFC and I think he's been dragged down at times. I genuinely think we're bringing players that could compliment him and bring out the qualities that he undoubtably has. If, hopefully, Sess is with us in the coming season, it could be his best on Wearside since he joined.
For the majority of last season we played with Sess and Fletch up front. Our attacking ability was minimal. Of course we lacked in CM but as yet I've never seen Sess build up an understanding with a player. Would you be happy with a front two of sess and fletch this up coming season.
I would prefer Fletch & Another upfront with Sess given a free role behind them causing mayhem. With an attack minded team I think we will see consistency and more goals from him
We should only sell a useful player if we receive an offer of big money, similar to the money we were offered for Darren Bent. I see no reason why we should sell Sessegnon, unless he himself would like to leave. There is no point in trying to keep a player whose heart is elsewhere no matter how good they are, however the grapevine suggests that Sessegnon is happy at Sunderland these days.
This, although I do feel there's other things to consider. Sess was at his best at PSG when he played either RM or at the front of a diamond, we have signed Altidore who was a major target of PDC clearly, he's gonna play. We saw AJ used LM the other night, is this a pointer to Sess role next season? One position we haven't been hugely linked with (unless you class Giacc as a wide midfielder) is RM. Does Di Canio see a front 5 of Fletch--Jozy AJ---Giacc---Sess? That would make some sense give Giaccherini's ability in terms of passing, but does suggest the need for either 2 holders (N'Diaye & Cabral/Hudd/Catts), and a move to 3 at the back. This is a worry as well though, as the wing backs we are after are very attacking minding, and you can see gaping holes before we even play! We ain't gonna be dull, whichever way you look at it, but we look likely to concede goals.
