In general, men don't like suits, but they are flattering when you start to spread in middle years. Stick to the suits, Nicola.
I admit to being slightly intimidated by Cortese in his sharp Italian suits. He cuts a powerful figure. But in a light blue long sleeve polo, he will be forever "moob man" from now on.

Love seeing Cortese and co. all together with the team. Anyone know if Wanyama is with them all at the moment or is he getting some stuff together and then travelling over soon?
Best signing of the this window. Well chuffed (thank Jay). Its late and a fair bit of cognac has been quaffed, but this is just the best news. Signing a new CB is great; getting Victor is brilliant. But securing an academy graduate of such potential shows where we are going.
This for me is the signing of the window.......Nice to Know another academy lad has broken through........Congrats young Luke! That's is not to say I do not rate any of the others but at the moment they are unproven in the premier while this lad is!
Yes great stuff. A back 4 of Luke Dejan Maya and Clyne with a midfield trio of Vic Morgan and Jack. Awesome!
who is the guy carrying the cake, is he the goalkeeper coach or something always see him chatting to the players and sitting in the dugout
In his interview, Luke says he is a Chelsea supporter so his highlight of the season was putting in the cross for Puncheon's goal. I obviously don't have a footballer's mind, so, although I expect every professional to play to his best, I am surprised that is his highlight. Perhaps he just wanted to shine at Stamford bridge. I liked the bit in the photo session where Mauricio, obviously instructed to show off The Watch, put his hand over his face.
It doesn't appear as if Luke had a watch even though it was his birthday and as for that cake it looked like a lump of brioche with a sparkler stuck in the top. It doesn't look as if his team mates even bothered to have a whip round to get him a present either and all there was for a toast was water or some strange looking juice. Fancy being away from home on your 18th birthday. I bet his mum and Dad would have made a much bigger fuss of him had he been at home.
I agree Godders. How awful to turn 18, sign a multi-million pound contract for a Premier League side (for whom you are first choice), be an England under 21 international and widely tipped to break into the full England squad soon. Awful, just awful. Probably the worst 18th Birthday ever
And how many 18 year olds are paid £25,000 per week to run around and kick footballs? I bet he wishes he was stacking shelves in Tescos like his schoolmates.
