****ing hell, North Ferriby are it too now, re their new Stadium sponsor - "Eon Visual Media is official media partner to Hull KR and Hull City Tigers". http://www.northferribyunited.com/ferriby-unveil-eon-visual-media-as-new-sponsors-640?
Does it matter when all said and done. Us fans will always kniow us as Hull City regardless of what the club does.
Doesn't bother me. I know what team I support and if just a bit of minor rebranding makes us more attractive to players and outside investors then so be it.
Indeed so. Actually i quite like the sound of Hull City Tigers as it embraces the clubs nickname that we all know. I know Bradford Bulls(RL) fans who still call there club Bradford Northern as they used to be.
Changing the name from Hull City, to Hull Tigers, is not minor re-branding. And that is the aim. It's a ****ing ridiculous idea and the sooner it's binned, the better.
This is what you get if you Google Hull City. Out-of-date in 'League': Hull City A.F.C. this is quite typical, afters years of wimping out I was considering finally getting my first tattoo this weekend, featuring the city badge, would be just typical if we changed our name the week after

Are you sure about that? I thought they changed it to AFC Bornmuff at the same time they changed to red and black stripes ... late 60's early 70's. The stripes were picked to resemble AC Milan and rather than change to AC Bornmuff, they included the F as in AFC .... L**ds tried to pull a similar stunt when Revie took over, changed to all white to resemble Real Madrid. Which didn't work because Real Madrid became a shoddy little team, whereas L**ds became Champions of Europe. the World etc ...
I really couldnt give a ****. The Tigers is a great nickname, why not use it. We were always knownfor playing at Boothferry Park, that didnt work out too well. Times change.
