I am afraid that a lot of English womens football is far less skillful and technical and there is still a stigma about playing it.

Being realistic for a bit and leaving the blind hyperbole behind, this is international level. Premier League is not and women's football, I've said it before, lacks the strength of depth that men's football has, meaning between the top teams and the less top teams, there's quite a gap in quality. Take the Premier League (National Division) and the WSL last season, the gap between the two is much bigger than between the Men's Premiership and the Championship. Considering how few clubs and players there are, that's not surprising.

 

Also the collapse of the American league did not help.

 

I can't stand Hope Powell's coaching style. She's all "Get it up there"'from in the dugout.

I remember when I was a nipper and went to see England women beat Belgium 3-0 at The Dell. There were 5 Saints ladies playing. It was circa 1978 and I still have the program somewhere.

 

The Scandinavian climate is lovely - beautiful, clear hot summers, and then pop out for a bit of skiing in the winter.

 

I'm a massive fan of equality, that's way I think that if a woman is good enough she should be able to play with the men, because seeing 22 women trying to play football, is to be honest, very, very comical. Women can do better.

 

Chicks are hopeless at football end of. Nobody apart from a few weirdos is remotely interested in it and its just political correctness gone made that our licence fees pay for this rubbish.

Barack Obama wished people a happy Ramadan the other day! This PC bullshit has gone ****ing mad! They have different fruits in cider now, it's PC madness! Just wait until Richard Littlejohn gets a load of this.

 

Even chicks I know that like football think the woman's game is shiete.It only seems to be a few blokes trying to be "modern", blokes watching to perv and a few wimmin that watch it. It is shockingly poor and a waste of time. Whoever put the idea in their silly little heads that they can play football needs shooting.

I used to work with the goalkeeper from that team. I presented her with said programme when she left. Also, played 5-a-side against those Saints ladies. We did win but only after totally underestimating them to start with and one of our team needing stitches in a head wound after being shoulder charged into the wall!

 

Technically, many of them are quite skilful and they can play a very good passing game. There is something different about it though which I can't quite put my finger on. Try and take that last sentence seriously by the way!!

 

They instead talk behind her back and quietly tease her until she develops an eating problem
