Not Sammon ffs. Rubbish and not good enough. Would rather stick with Aaron Mclean. In fact Bruce should get in Deano as striker coach. Ive said it before and i shall say it again. If Mclean could finish on a regular basis he would save us alot of wonga.

Have a friend who is a Derby fan and a regular at Pride Park , he says they would snap our hand off should we bid for Sammon. Doesn't rate him at all . Think we all know already that but what he says actually confirms what we all think.
Derby have already said this morning that we haven't contacted them about Sammon. And it's a good job, he's nowhere near good enough.
According to all the regular 'transfer' sites we have only made ONE inquiry as regards to a 'striker' and that was for Adam Le Fondre. He is only a little bloke so he's going to need a partner up front and Aluko is surely short of 'match fitness' at this stage. There's nobody around within our 'budget' so I think Steve will be looking for season-long loans for players on the fringe at their own clubs. I'd like to see Kenwynne Jones and/or Darren Bent here as McLean, Proschwitz and Fryatt are all way below this level imo.
