They have completely got this all wrong again. Yes I accept most of us like me have a season ticket so it doesnt effect us but I would much rather see the stadium full then empty. Prices like this wont see many big attendances here next season For an adult to sit in the Kop for an average game its £29. http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/100713-201314-match-ticket-prices-revealed-906171.aspx A quote from a director at Bayern Munich regarding season ticket prices 'We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income but what's £2m to us? 'In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan. 'We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk. Football has got to be for everybody. 'That's the biggest difference between us and England.'
29 quid for an average game is scandalous. It's not the fans fault we're in the ****, why do we have to cough up so much?
i haven't got a season ticket but try to go as often as possible with my dad. This will mean I am able to go to less games. They ought to lower the prices, get more people in and sell more pies, pints and programmes. Now, when I go down there, I'll be reluctant to buy anything other than the ticket.
Prices are frozen aren't they? So they're the same as last season. Family stand match day tickets seem to have been around £22 for years.
Your season tickets aren't that bad, you're obviously trying to get more fans to sign ip to season tickets. My posh seats are less than your posh seats and they haven't gone up since we got promoted.
Agreed - commercial suicide - we will be playing to crowds of between 18k- 24k for the majority of games, unless we are top of the league throughout, and even if that was the case I doubt we will be at full capacity for many - to start a season knowing that a quarter of the ground is likely to be empty is scandalous. This is the second tier of British football for godsake - how much does an average ticket for the TOP FLIGHT in Germany cost? ... many people who would have gone down to support - particularly larger families - will now veer towards streaming European games from top flight continental leagues instead... the economics are unarguable - we are losing the next generations of potential city supporters before they even get a taste.
I live 15 minutes walk from Barnet's new ground and to sit there for a game is £21 and that is for a conference game! So much for a cheap alternative on the weekends I am not up watching Leicester!
