Exactly...if I'm not mistaken, people know when Ramadan is going to start to within a few days, so why would he have gone knowing he would only be there for a fraction of the trip. A good offer from another club seems more plausible to me.

I think the key in these matters is sensible dialogue. It does not have to end in tears. Extremists of all varieties - from Richard Dawkins to 'Muslim' or 'Christian' or any other variety - muddy the waters of that debate.

However, in order not to hijack (another) Adel thread, I, too, will not comment further.

Think there only 2 plausible reasons.

    1. We've had an offer from another club and he's on his way.

2 he's a FU*KWIT and has done something wrong or to ruin the trip. Outcome is...He's on his way!

Surely no-one can believe the Ramadam thing. wouldn't traore AND our lovely young female physio be sent back too....clutching at straws guys.

I suppose an injury could be another but don't expect to se much more of him. Would love to see Andros again next season...even at the cost of adel,

I personally think it's no.1 Queens. I've heard that a big wage offer is coming in from one of the Arab countries. We'll soon see.

Anton doubled him on his three wheeler until Mrs Ferdinand pick them both up and took them home for some 'play lunch' followed by a nap. All are resting as we speak.

If its number 2, he really does have to look at himself and think about growing up.

Its like when your school went on a camp in year 8 or something and you get sent home for bad behaviour. It just astounds me how a grown man acts like a little kid constantly, does he have no pride

The Al Fayed connection makes sense, joking apart. So much talent but limited character to contain and develop it. So far, anyway.

Have to agree, his attitude could wreck any team spirit which is the last thing we need so for me it's thanks for some great times/moments but lets move on.

That is not such a bad shout. Wasn't it Martin Jol that brought Adel to England in the first place? He would be a very good manager for Adel imo.

Talent aside ( which he has plenty of ... ) the guy has always struck me as being as inviting as a fart in an elevator. That alone ( his temperament ) is the sole reason he has not progressed talent wise.
As I've already mentioned here ...................... we are about to kick off a brand new season, down a grade mind you .................... we need everyone and everything to be running smoothly with everyone wearing a positive grin, all pulling in the same direction.

We DO NOT need a dick_head throwing a spanner in the work. That means, no Barton, no Adel for starters and there are a couple others too that are simply brain-dead and for the sake of the team, should be shifted for safe keeping.

Whatever the reason, it doesn't look good. I was expecting and hoping Adel to be instrumental in another promotion season. The reason, I feel, must be one of Queenslander's one or two. If it's one I'll consider him to have no sense of pride in QPR and two, well the man's an idiot who we could do with replacing with a professional (Townsend).
The Ramadan theory is a non-starter.

Queenie always covers the topic, so he's got a 'get out' clause, or he's pissed and apologises. anyone else got anything new to say?
