I reckon he'll have been willing to give Fergie a lot more than just a brochure!

Didnt like Piers Morgan at 1st but he is honest in a way that is quite comical also after about 4 days of trying to rip into Barton he tweeting something about gaining new respect for him as he gave as much banter as he got and proved how intelligent and articulate he can be. As for Owen I dont even think Man U fans would disagree he's a grade A ****.

Piers Morgan is a compete moron - because he's one of the few people on Twitter that can type legibly, he thinks he's a mastermind.

Granted, I like when he rips of Ferdinand and Rooney.

Genuine Q. If u felt u didnt deserve a LC medal in 2001, how can u happily take 1 for ur bitpart league performance in 2011? (that's another one I asked him)

I honestly don't think there is a single human being on this plannet I despise more than him!

“I was desperate for us to win a cup for the first time in six years, but at the party afterwards I didn’t feel as if I’d played a role. Naturally I congratulated the lads as much as I could and was happy for the club and the fans, but I wasn’t too bothered about my own medal. I could quite happily have thrown it to the supporters and left it in the crowd”.

This is the quote from 2001, how times change, eh!?

The way he was going 10 years ago, he probably thought he'd have an amazing career. But he peaked ridiculously early and is now living of a reputation of a "wonderkid" from 10 or 12 years ago. Now he's 31, and "desperate" to stay at Man U so he can claim a few winners medals to make his career look a little less pathetic. I almost pity him. Almost.

Would you want pity if you'd earned what he's earned for doing something you loved doing?

I'd question if he even cares any more, let alone loves football. If he cared at all he'd go to Villa or Everton and play regularly in a good side, rather than picking up accolades from the Man U bench.

He wants to count himself very fortunate to have been able to live on past glories.
