Verona

Anybody know if it is possible to get cheap flights from Ponteland Airport to Verona. I only know of package holidays going there and it would be to know if there are alternatives. Thanks.

 

Don't know to be honest, although calling that aerodrome an airport is pushing it a bit!

Looks like Manchester for a direct flight(from £90. With Monarch) Newcastle all saying one stop in Germany (from £600) Get a RR chauffeur to Manchester and still be cheaper

Jet2.com go to Venice (Marco Polo) where you can hire car. Alternatively you could get a Vaporetto across to Venice and get the train
Even better, just stay in Venice, one of the best cities in Europe (after 5pm when the tourists have gone, mix with the locals who turn out then as well)

 

Ryanair go to Bergamot from Leeds, about 50 mile from Sirmione/Columbare

Jealous of all you guys living in Europe! So cheap to get around to completely different cultures and cities. Here, we've got Bali. Basically that's it. Even then it's $500+ return. And takes 3 hours to get to. And it's full of bogans :/
