I cant remember, they did used to do like a **** stained yellow didnt they Austin? Think it was dark blue this one
Won't be Tickles' then. His is defo KFB with brown velvet interior. When he pulls up at away grounds in that bastard and in his Len Beck special everyone knows a big hitter is in town.
Quality signing, well done Bruce and the Allams. I wonder who we will bring in on loan for the other striker.
I did ask why it had a specially modified large cup holder, just dawned on me-a KFC bucket fit it perfectly.
Might as well post a few of his goals... I apologize for the poor quality of the music in those videos.
I'll admit to growing a wee bit frustrated at times with the Austin/Hooper situation but then again if it was my £500,000 I'd be cautious too. Bruce appears to be happy to go along with the Allam's family values of value for money. No wreckless over pricing and steady away. Not exactly a marquee signing but im my opinion, probably our most crucial of the summer.
Looking at those vids old Charlie likes a sandwich. Get rid of that belly son you're in the premier league now.
good point made about the extra half a million, not exactly peanuts is it? football fans have a habit of thinking it's like monopoly cash..
Exactly. The muppets calling for *its just an extra half a million," or "2 millions not that much" clearly aren't the ones whose actual money it is. This is not a "game" for the Allams, this is their actual, real money. It's being done sensibly, sustainably and is being done the right way. Still with THEIR money too. I hope they make it all back, and profit too, although that's not what's driving them, but honestly, they deserve it, and we'll be better off too.
Not seen anything to suggest the player's personal terms have been sorted yet. If so we're only at the Dudley Junior stage so far.
Looking at the videos above Charlie Austin looks pretty decent. Ok,the opposition is not Premier League standard but this lad isn't afraid to get stuck in, scores with both feet, can head the ball and can score a penalty or two. We know how difficult it will be playing against the big boys but with someone like Austin in your team you have a better chance of nicking a few points. Lets hope he can stay injury free - and choose his nightclubs carefully. Jumping the gun? Don't worry about him having to pass a medical on Monday. If it's the same medical team that gave Jimmy Bullard the all clear Austin could also be passed fit to fly US F35 jet fighters in his spare time.
