Kinda makes me sad that this is all over the news and the fact that Boko Haram killed 29 school children just passes everyone by.

The sad thing is that we now expect this of militant Islamists...what kind of religion has children as their main target because they fear education. One man who has lost two sons has removed his other 3 children from school....giving in maybe, but who can blame him.

On a brighter not, Mens final day at Wimbledon. Murray has won a major and is number 2 in the world, so of course he can win, but have to wait and see. Djokovic not quite at his best, but, too be fair, neither is Murray. He can play far better than he has had to in this tournament. His first serve has been letting him down and he has a weak second serve. But, when needed against his last opponent, he got his mojo back and his first serve was terrific. He has won a major now, so perhaps nerves will not be a factor this year. Come on, Andy.

Truly a horrific attack, I've not read the details but from what I can gather it sounded awful. The charity I used to work for work in that state, I believe, and there have been occasions in the past where some of the programmes staff have been in the middle of it all.

But as for these scum, because there's really no other word for them, they represent the majority of Muslims about as much as the Westboro Baptist Church represents Christians (or Baptists). I.e. Not at all.

Wimbledon is the one everyone wants, but is only one of several majors a year. Murray says that nothing will top winning an Olympic Gold at home. I am not surprised...an Olympic Gold medallist is always revered. Still has magic today.

They have just put comparative stats up on Sky. I am surprised how close Andy is in performance to Djokovic, especially recently. Couldn't put a sheet of Bronco between them at the moment...Andy has the edge coming back to the scene of his Olympic triumph. I have to admit that I missed the Olympic match because I gave up on Murray and turned off the tv....just like I turn off Saints matches.

One thing that confused me was how predator appeared in the opening scene.

Replied to my first ad about a room in north London! How exciting! Methinks this won't be so easy as finding a student house was back at uni.

Yeah, Predator only hunts in tropical jungles. I assume. And desperately hope.

Froomer in a bit of difficulty in the Pryenees after dropping his team. The British sporting hat trick may be scuppered early doors. Still a long way to go though.

As long as he sticks with Valverde he'll be fine. He can use the Movistar domestiques just as Valverde will, unless of course Richie Porte can get across to his group.
