Anyone else going down for this?

Myself and my dad are going down to watch our first pre-season game and to visit a new ground!

Having looked at the squad on it everyone is going bar:

Cesar - given time off after the confederations cup.
Diakite - where has he got to?
    Barton - why not?

Not sure where Diakite is, as it seems he hasnt come back? Not in any of the pics on the website.

Will be interesting to see how things have developed in terms of team spirit. Perhaps the fact that the pressure is off at the moment will help the team to gel a bit more now. Also interested to see this Sanusi play as well.

No Harriman which is a bit disappointing, or any of the youngsters. I know they are 'bonding', but surely it would do the kids good to be involved, even if they don't get any game time.

Thats a good point. Would be nice to see the likes of Harriman getting involved at this stage in pre-season. Perhaps a few youngsters will be heading down but not noted on the website.

Judo not sure how well you know exeter. But if you get the chance there is a pub called the turf lock. Take a walk up the river away from the quay.

According to David McIntyre, none of the youngsters have been included because the club think they are not good enough. He also said this about Harriman... '' yes he did ok and will have a career I think. But for Rangers not really an option. ''

OK lets sack the people who have wasted the time and effort on these 'not good enough for us' kids. Because clearly they are not good enough to spot genuine talent and develop it. This makes my rather cross - another generation where we don't see a home grown player.

Me too. Against Liverpool last game of the season he looked well at home at full back. He just needs a chance and some experience. And a manager bold enough to give it too him.
