What a strange article this is.

The journalist asserts some odd stuff on there especially at the end.

With the presence of so many Scottish managers in next season's Premier League, will they be allowed not to work on Hogmanay or Burns Night?

And I assume that Irn Bru and Glenmorangie will be available for them on their travels round the country to ensure they are feeling loved.

    Mental.

(If you're going to respond. try and make it constructive and well-argued, rather than showing your lack of sophistication and grasp of the main argument here.)

Are you trying to sneak under the bar? As far as I can see, that link doesn't refer to Scots at all.......

London can't be 'Capital of the World' without that world being somewhat involved in the matter.

And, throughout its history, London has always received waves of immigrants. It's not really a new phenomenon.

So you request sensible arguments/discussion over a good and well written report on Muslim players, by spouting some ****ing stupid stereotypical ****e about Scots...you really are a ****ing idiot.

Regarding the article, fair play to them. They harm no one, the managers and other players seem to respect their beliefs and accommodate them as best they can. This country is all about tolerance, and it's slightly at odds with the minority of ****wits who hurl racial abuse and bigotry from the terraces (and on forums...), so its nice to see the clubs, players, managers and majority of fans actually making a difference and respecting other peoples beliefs and allowing them the space to follow them.

Well, you're off again into territory that (I thought was stated the other day) is off limits on this board.

According to the University of Wikipedia , currently 44.9% are 'White British', so I'm sticking by my reply to Brady's Bunch.

    No I'm not.

You or others may take it there but I'm commenting on the silly ideas of an article on the BBC Football website in an apolitical way.

I thought it was a very poor piece, badly written and on the level of a 15 year old student rather than a professional journalist.
