#BristolCity v Clevedon (1st): Charles-Cooke; Wynter, Carey, Wilson, Williams, Jordan, Reid, Woods, Bryan, Burns, Taylor.

#BristolCity v Clevedon (2nd): Roos, Moloney, Flint, Fontaine, Cunningham, Kelly, Kilkenny, Pearson, Hall, Amadi-Holloway, Ajala.

#BristolCity Subs: Batten, Brundle, Mitchell, Krans, Dobie.

    2 teams again
the first 11 is very young
Wynter at right back by the looks of it
Not sure who Jordan is, I think he is an academy player
    a very young bench too
    Looks like SO'D see's Amadi-Holloway as a forward

I won't be around to keep updates as I am taking the kids out

    I am going for a 5-1 win

Terrific cross from Burns down the left and Woods tucks home with a delicious side-foot finish from 18 yards.

Got to admit that has me confused as well but Charles-Cooke and Wilson have not done themselves any favours in the first half.
But Woods might be doing enough to get himself a contract if he stays fit.

Still a lot of work for S O'D to do with the team and many of them will have to be shipped out because they are not going to be able to fit into his passing style of game. Kilkenny who could play the passing game isn't worth a place in the team because you have to play 2 defensive midfielders to cover for the fact he runs away from tackles.

I've been saying this for a couple of years - Kilkenny can play in a 5 man midfield, but not a 4. I remember one game where Marv got a lot of stick, but he was doing the defensive work of 2 men

went to it, didn't play well but at the end of the day we put out our youth team, and clevedon town is their level for some of our youth team

It's all about fitness anyway, and our squad hasn't even fully been built yet.. pre season results means nothing, look what happened last year, we won all our pre season games and look what happened.. 2 years before we lost all our pre season games and struggled also

    Its a ****ing embarrassment

We had 7 first team players in the 2nd half so even if the youngsters lost the 1st, there was plenty enough professional experience out there to turn it around. My mood is not improved by my betting slip as under - look at what odds we were, I rarely include 1/10 shots but I was confident we could turn over Clevedon Town FFS...:headbang:

Get it right we played the second half with 9 and a bit men. Fontaine, Kilkenny and Pearson make just over one player between the 3 of them.
Kilkenny runs away from tackles, Pearson has never learned to tackle and Fontaine does tackle but poorly.

'Kilkenny can play in a 5 man midfield'
He can't play in ANY midfield - he's Poison.

He's the bad apple in our barrel and BCFC need shot of him.
Weak and inept management from top to bottom if he's still here in August.

And please, let's not hear about his contract from any Health & Safety or Human Rights type who think there aren't ways of getting rid.

Please suggest ways of getting rid of him because I don't think the board have come up with any that will not involve spending more money on him than he is worth.

(Of course your manager could just not play him! After a while he'd want away.)

Very true Pirate; put him in the Under 21's as an overage player, keep him on the bench for all the games and he'll soon get so pissed off that he'll be begging for a loan deal anywhere.

In the old days, unwanted players were told to go up the Downs and do their training well away from the First team squad.

You do that nowadays and you'll get taken to the court of arbitration in sport for constructive dismissal
