    Ok, just been dipping in and out of the SkySports webchat with David Craig and he seems certain that we will NOT be signing Kone (as he's loyal to Martinez and Everton have already met the clause). Besides which, the impression I got was he thought this move was only a secondary option, a "why not, it's only £5m and it's goals we need).

    He did claim we WILL be signing Tom Ince and Loic Remy. Interesting. I suspect we'd already have Remy if it weren't for the court case, but wasn't he released without charge anyway? Ince is interesting...but I'd sooner have taken Redmond for a third of the price.

    Granted, he's about as reliable as...well...Joe Kinnear, but that's his two pence worth.

    Chris Hughton did good bringing in Nathan Redmond, Hughton is going strength to strength as a manager. Tom Ince would be good for us, also Remy if the case against him was dropped. We would look good for a 4-3-3 formation next season. Personally, I was hoping for Hooper, Austin, Hughes and Chalobah if he is available.

    Got to say the only bit I think will happen there is Kone to Everton, though wasn't he supposed to sign for them yesterday.

    Craig is a **** **** of the worse sort. He needs to be eaten alive by mutated Tasmanian Devils

    That said, if he is right, I would happily have Remy and Ince.

    Redmond is not good business. Birmingham have been desperate to off load him all season. His behaviour has not improved and they were so worried about him not improving as a player and getting into more bother off the pitch they wanted to cash in now. We turned him down in January as did a lot of other clubs by all accounts. Guessing Hughton thinks he's worth the risk, or can even be 'saved', Clarkie obviously doesn't agree.
