although you wouldn't know it judged by the number of posts asking about his well being on here. You bunch of ingrates. If you're going to spend your time watching horses I feel you should give some consideration to the men and women who make their living from riding the things. He's in a pretty serious condition apparently in intensive care. I very much hope he makes a full recovery.
Wasn't aware Bob but thanks for bringing it to our attention. BBC Report. I'm sure all here wish him well.
Like everyone on here, hope the young lad pulls through. He was riding for a small trainer from Cumbria..and I live just a few miles from her stable.I also am a member of Elite Racing club, and Kevin Ryan trains two horses for the club, and Kevin's daughter Amy is the boyfriend of young Brian.Best of luck Brian for a full recovery.
thats tragic, hope the young man pulls through--a reminder that when we 'risk' our dough these people risk a whole lot more.
Just another indication of what these jockeys do to earn a living. All be it, its something that they love doing, but the perils of the sport are plain to see here yet again... Lets hope for a full recovery, as soon as is possible...
This is very sad. Hopefully the latest news that he is stable will mean he has some chance of recovery. Dreadful...
