So McD was in Harrogate trying to buy a bottle opener, only to find the store had none. As he got in his car a bloke taps on his window, and says he's got two and wants to give McD one. Next thing he's legged it up to his flat, and comes back with a bottle opener that he hands over. McD offers him £20 but the fella refuses the money, and says its his way of thanking the gaffer for making his week by signing Murphy.

This is the kind of things that people don't understand about Leeds supporters, why they are the best. Players realise once they join just how huge the following is and how dedicated they are. Leeds supporters recognise and reward hard work, and McD has just experienced this. He knows he and his players can become legends forever at a great club, just work hard, be honest and bring success.

Iconic moments like this and the Byrams left boot comment certainly enhance the feel-good factor.

I thought this was set up to be a joke, but just goes to show. Players and Management do their best and demonstrate that with actions the fans appreciate & all of a sudden the mood music changes.

Presumably if Papa Smurf had been in Harrogate looking for a bottle opener, the bloke would also have tapped his the window & used said bottle opener to try and open KB's wallet a bit wider!!!

So Steve Lomas was in South Bermondsey trying to buy a bottle opener, only to find the store had none. As he got in his car a bloke taps on his window, and says he's got two but never mind, Millwoe are bottlers so he does not need one.

The truth behind the story is the cashier asked B.McD. for 1 Million Pounds for the bottle opener.
B.McD. then replied im not paying 1 million pounds for that no good piece of ****.

To which the cashier replied why not ? thats what you paid Crew for theirs,,,,<laugh>

Total rip-off for an opener, was that in one of your neighborhoods?
