I don't think that's true. Nigel was always very tight lipped about anything. He wouldn't even clearly tell the press who were transferring in, transferring out, injured, who were fit, and who might feature in the next game. His position was that if he gave out any information, then that alerted the opposition and other clubs. That was Nigel's method. Pochettino's is rather more conventional.
Evidently not. As we have seen, he does speak it - but it's different doing an interview in-house with a few potential takes than a presser.
It was kinda tongue in cheek......but.....I think a fair bit of dealings went on way above his head. Cough cough Forren.
Fair comments. I didn't realise we had so man CB's. Who is this Forren you speak of though? We could get an oldie in for Shaw, someone who's not expecting to play every week.
Peach says he spoke to Pochettino after the press conference. A couple of bits: Poch's English is improving & spoke a little to us, only to explain he does his press confs in Spanish because his vocab is still limited. Pochettino & staff still living in hotel, but he's moving into a house with his family in early August. "We will be a bit more relaxed then" One thing Pochettino can't get his head around is New Forest ponies. "I drive but donkeys get in the way either side. It's unbelievable!" Oh, and Pochettino has not tried fish & chips or a Pukka pie (unlike David Salas, who went into great detail explaining the contents to him).
To be fair you do get donkeys in the New Forest as well, although they are less prevalent than the ponies.

I'd feel more comfortable if we signed another quality centre back alongside lovren regardless of how many CBs we have on the books
Trouble is, you can't pick high quality CBs like they grow on trees. They cost a bundle, and besides, there's always the January window, or even next season.
Mauricio also mentioned that players wanting to leave has to be dealt with. I presume he wasn't referring to fringe players that we don't want/need anymore. I hope that doesn't refer to anyone we care about, but was rather just a passing remark.
