Hope not! Gary Obrien has tipped it, I put it up last time but was beaten by the draw, I thought it ran a cracking race all things considered and has no excuses draw wise tonight.

I think Moutaeb is a big danger if improving at all for the step up in trip, he is the only horse in the race that I fear, that Roca Tumu form is strong and he ran better than the result last time I thought, traveled quite nicely and had nowhere to go, I dont think hes straightforward but he is on a fair mark.

July the 4th, and its Independence day in America... God bless the United States of America...!!!

My dad lives in the US, has done for 20 years or so now, and July the 4th is probably has the biggest celebrations of any over there, according to him. Think of all the cliches you could imagine with an American party, and times it 100 fold...!!! You can never have enough flag waving, patriotic, hand on heart, anthem singing on a day such like this....... in America...

We get told off for flying any flag in this country...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, after looking briefly at the cards today i do see a runner aptly named for the big occasion, Hughesy is up top and it runs in the 6.35 at Epsom... Alamo, which is a rather short Evens Fav...

Nevermind, ive picked a few others that ive put in singles n doubles n one accy...

    3.10 Yarm - Katys Secret, 9/1...
    4.00 Perth - Twentypoundluck, 11/1...
    4.30 Perth - Civil Unrest, 9/1...
    8.20 Epsom - Pearl Secret, 5/1...

Good luck if indeed you do play today...<cheers>

Godolphin send a nice filly to Epsom tonight to make her debut, from what I am told she is very well thought of at home and will run well at a good price. Saddaq 10/1 Epsom 8.20, good luck.

Rumour is that George Baker's MENDACIOUS HARPY 6.50 Newbury is a decent sort so at 20-1 I may well be having a little each way go!

    3.30 Green Lightning

This has the look of a real banker today at the 15/8 mark.
New yard who will improve him but seemed to have chunks in hand LTO anyway.

afternoon people-- reckon i've sniffed out a good priced nag in the 4 30 at perth. Lucy Normile's Strobe--backed into 14's --this horse wins in july , usually on its third or fourth run after a break, today is its third, note that doug costello stays with the horse after riding it LTO at hexham, a track which wouldn't have suited, so today could well be the day , trip and ground fine, won at the course, stable in form and a bit of money about .... good luck all wh oplay.....just my opinion ....

I think the weight of stickwise wad @500/1 has damaged her knees, but at least you've managed to hedge your money mate....nearly a massive coup there's always next year stick ;)
