I didn't see that one coming. I have to admit to never having heard of him. Anyone else no anything about him? It certainly makes it interesting in relation to Marc Wilson. Let's hope he is going to be drafted into midfield. He certainly has done little wrong for Stoke in his time here.
I think yourself and Smithers could be right P Potter! I can't see Wilson leaving so, let's hope that MH see's him as a (midfielder) which we all know is his (best) position. Never heard of this Barca player but will look at wiki and let you guys know more about him.

I think your side is doing steady business. Pieters is very highly rated in the Netherlands and Muniesa was expected to become a first team player at Barcelona a few years ago but seemingly was overtaken by Bartra. Whether he is just not quite good enough for them or whether he is not quite up to it, I guess we will see.
i've got it sussed , the new approach that is , instead of having our attackers playing defensive we're signing 6 defenders who can attack . Pieters has 2 goals to his credit god knows how many the spaniard on the 4 year contract has got but at least its probably more than Wilko ,and whelan and etherington and palacios and shotton and wilson and shea and jeff cameron

My Dad likes Wilson at CB, I kind of agree. He could probably play a Woodgate role well to complement Huth or Shawcross but he's a little bit small. Most centre backs seem to spend a lot of time falling over though, being small probably wouldn't cause any problems there
Woodgate was rubbish for us! With what we have at the moment, I reckon I'd prefer to see: Begovic Wilko...Huth...Shawx...Muniesa Pennant...Wilson...Nzonzi...Etherington Walters...Jones With Palacios on the bench to replace Wilson or Nzonzi if one of them starts to tire, and Pieters as a possible replacement for Muniesa or even Etherington if we want to switch things up a bit. And no Shotton!

I wouldn't trust anything either of those two rags say. If they ever get anything right, it's just coincidence that real life has lined up with what they've pulled out of their holes!
Now that the players are reporting back to their clubs for pre-season there should be an increase in activity on the transfer front. Whether that will include us remains to be seen. Who knows where Crouch and Palacios will end up. Perhaps we could sell them back to 'Arry as a package though I doubt he would shell out £18M for the pair (more like £1.8M)
