I know there has been plenty of speculation, but here's the latest on Cabs >>

    Laurent Blanc: Likes Yohan Cabaye

New Paris Saint Germain coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed his interest in Newcastle United star Yohan Cabaye.

Cabaye's future remains far from certain at St James' Park, and he has been linked with a number of clubs in the Premier League and also back in his native France.

Big spending Monaco and PSG are both thought to be keeping close tabs on Cabaye's situation, and Blanc is a big fan of Cabaye.

Blanc was the French manager when he gave Cabaye his debut for his country, and he has remained a big fan of the 27-year-old midfielder.

"Yohan offers many things in midfield and can play in quite a few positions," said Blanc.

"He is an interesting player, and the midfield will be an area we will be strengthening because there will be departures."

Blanc is also in need of a new left-back and he confirmed he was looking at highly-rated Lille youngster Lucas Digne and former Barcelona ace Eric Abidal.

"Lucas Digne and Eric Abidal are of interest to PSG, if one of the players mentioned happens, it would be a good thing," he said.

Blanc also insisted that he has no plans to sell centre-half Mamadou Sakho - who was frustrated last season under Carlo Ancelotti.

"For me, there is no problem. It is with great pleasure that I work with him," he concluded.

Disagree. The price should be completely wrong. Rinse the frog ****ers for a stupid fee!!!

I really rate the lad but for the money you could get in for him you can replace him.

    In Carr you trust/we envy!

Hopefully not but if we do sell we need to sell high. Leave us needing two central midfielders too following the departure of Perch.

The way things are panning out right now l am left wondering if it's really going to matter who stays and who goes. The club is a mess and feels like a row of dominoes at the moment. You just feel that any more pressure and the whole lot will come tumbling down.
I can't help but feel that most of the players will be thinking the whole thing is a farce, those who are coveted by other clubs must be hoping that someone will take them away from the misery and those who stay will do so, not because they particularly want too, but because they have no choice.
Unless something really positive happens and soon, l really worry for the future of our club.
I hope Joe is enjoying his holiday whilst we slip further away from the competition.

You really don't keep abreast of all the transfer activity, do you? I've told you already, we've 'signed' Vuckic, Inman, Richardson and Kemen....

If anything we need to sell at least one more.

    <cough>

If Cabaye sells for £15m or more we should all get together and high five one another.
