How about his bad attitude ? Could upset team spirit and morale which is at an all time high atm. Best reason of all to stay away. There is a very good reason why the WBA chairman is saying nobody had bid for him and at a cheap price ? His football ability is not in any doubt btw.
One Goal every 3 games in the Premier League. Shouldn't you be mixing with lower league clubs rather than Premier League Clubs? Don't get me wrong it's always nice to welcome those less gifted than oneself, but I would have thought that us discussing games against Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and the like whilst all you have to look forward to is playing Barnsley, Yeovil and Bournemouth (no disrespect) might get a bit embarrassing for you.
Yes I understand his attitude has caused all this. But if, and its a big if I know, Bruce did want to bring him in I am sure he would be confident of managing Odemwingie and getting the best out of him. If the price is right it could be worth the gamble.
He hasn't got a bad attitude, he always gives 100% on the pitch. He's just a bit dim, which is not all that rare with footballers.
I would be a tad disappointed if we only bring in Austin striker wise and although i don't want us to make the mistakes we did last time, but i think we are being to careful and hope it doesen't backfire.
Not anymore on both. How long did it take for you to think that one up ? Nope. But We have a member called Bruce Thompson actually who hates football. He prefers fishing and sailing.
Now I understand why you are not privileged to those tantalising titbits you used to divulge in previous seasons
I can see the similarity in situation; us putting in a loan request for last seasons top goalscorer in the Premier League compared to Doncaster putting in a loan request for a player who hasn't played a football match for over 12 months after getting a mystery career-threatening illness that made him lose all feeling in his leg. There is no doubting the quality and ability of Guidetti, but he needs game time - Doncaster would be able to guarantee him that, so I can see why Man City may favour sending him there, over a bigger club that matches his fully-fit ability, who may not be willing to gamble on making him their first choice striker for the season.
"Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim has extended his loan with Norwegian club Stromsgodset until December. However, Sky Sports understands there is a clause inserted into the deal which allows him to leave this summer if a Premier League club makes an offer." An interesting clause.
You make a good point. IF and it is a Mega IF, Steve Bruce took a gamble on him(attitude wise) then the first thing that SB should insist on is that he sacks his agent. Any quality agent would not have allowed the DQPR fiasco to happen at all. Nobody is questioning his football ability or performances. It is what goes on off the pitch that is the main concern. From the chairman to some of the players they say he is bad news due to his attitude off the pitch. Mr Billy Big Bollox in other words. As for being a bit dim, well that is being kind. His DQPR stunt makes him the dimwit of the decade for sure. IMO, we should leave well alone. But its what Stebe Bruce wants to do that will be the order of the day in the end.

is it? it's more interesting than your usual negativity such as "We need 3 Champions League standard strikers and a large bus or we'll be relegated by Christmas" that was what you wrote wasn't it?
Now you've said that, I've only just realised there's two of you. Bastards. One of you needs to get an avatar or a signature so it's easy to differentiate.
