Non vertical stripes? That will be hoops then. Unless you think Celtic ha e a famous green and white horizontally striped kit? Or that Newcastle play in black and white hoops? If we had originally had a black and amber hooped shirt we wouldn't have got the Tigers nickname. Wasps or Hornets maybe.
Why the frig isn't the badge sitting clearly on 1 stripe rather than straddling 2? Just put it in the black stripe. These little touches make the difference. But it's a nice kit, much better than the ****e we've had in recent years.
There are many worse names than Cash Converters that we could have on display on the shirts. For older city fans the worst IMO has been Twydale(Turkeys). 1986/87 www.hullcitykits.co.uk/match-worn-1988687-home-shirt-2-jobsonpalmerwilliamsbrentano/ People need to get a grip over cash converters and move on.
It is like the West Ham away one from that time. I seem to recall there was a bit of a craze for that design at the time, Palace did something similar and some others.
Love the shirt but why oh why did they have to have white behind the logo.. it looks ironed on almost. Would have looked much better if they had the sponsor the same as last seasons.
Looks great. The sponsor could have easily been put in all-white writing, but I'm not bothered. I hope the badge isn't as small as the one on the away kit (I only saw it in person for the first time today while in town, the badge spoils it quite a bit.) We managed to get the sponsor changed on our away shirt a couple of seasons ago quite easily, so it could easily be redone if enough don't like it.
Those 'wings' actually look quite good on our shirt. Only criticism would be that the sponsor should be white, with no background (Hopefully they'll edit it like the away strip 2 years ago)
Now that would be a hard sell to families for sure. Egypt Air would look nice for the 2014/15 PL season. imo
Hate it personally, don't like the wings, but the sponsors so bright it's all you notice. Great for cash converters, but it looks utter turd.
